Yes, I understand that you are excited, but at some point you have to edit. If every 30 minute status update is about the same thing, it gets irritating, much the same way if you were to dominate the conversation in real life about the same things.
After experiencing my loss I realized that I will go about doing things differently next time. For example, now I know I won't ever post a u/s pic. I won't announce the pg on Facebook this time. I won't even post about it (I don't post now as it is). I

This! Hopefully I will be able to control my MIL's urge to post about anything.... she is so ... invasive.
Posting an u/s picture on FB is just weird, and especially if it is not your own picture. I wouldn't do it at all.
I'm also all for not sharing my personal pictures of me looking like absolute crap with anyone at work or whatever. My husband took a picture of me and DS on his phone and emailed it to a couple of my co-workers. She edited me out of the picture so only DS was in it and shared that with everyone at work, which was fine by me. She knew how much of a private person I am.
We once got a really inappropriate picture of the wife of an employee here...she appeared to have just given birth and her gown was down to her armpits so her shoulders were fully bared. She looked terrible too...so no, I wouldn't want that out there.

I think there definitely needs to be some filtering as to what you put online. I don't necessarily think posting an u/s photo on FB is weird, but the money shot ones are too much. Don't put your kids junk out there. I also don't want to see the naked bath time photos or the potty training photos. I mean really?!

That's exactly why my mother won't know until we go public to the rest of the world. Despite our wishes to keep our PG quiet, she blasted it on her FB page the day before we found out we m/c.
Birthin pictures have no place on FB, imo. One of my friends took pictures of his wife's entire C-Section and posted them. TMI.
Re: I can completely agree with a lot of these
I agree with much of these too.
