Do you call or wait?

If you're waiting for test results from your doc do you call them or wait until they call you?

Usually if they have not called me by lunchtime, I call them!

I get impatient.

I'm a waiter....I trust that if something earth-shattering were to come up on the test they'd let me know right away.

Depends on what they told me.  If they said they'd call by a certain time, and haven't-then I'd call.

If they said they'd call at a certain time and they haven't then I'd call them.

Usually if they give me a time frame, I wait until that has passed (or is just about to), and if I have not heard anything I will call.

I wait a day past when they told me they would call by, and then call.  I figure if it is bad news that requires attention they would call me early/on time, so I don't see the harm in waiting.
