FI's reaction to...Adeline

I apologize on my FI's behalf to anyone who has a daughter named Adeline (I personally do not dislike the name in any way) However, when I read this off our VERY long list FI responded by "F*ck NO! Seriously Cassie? What the h*ll did you forget how to spell Madeline or something???" His absolute dead seriousness with that comment made me laugh so hard I peed myself!!

So I guess that's a no to that one.....

I actually don't mind Adeline.

I know someone's who's pregnant and name her DD Maddeline and for some reason the dd makes me crazy.

I actually like the name Adeline - but don't worry, DH reacts the same way to all of the names I suggest that he doesn't like as well!!

My husband reacts like that to most of the names I suggest.

I love Adeline!

H hasn't really turned anything down. We have about 3-4 names picked out for boys and girls and it didn't take any arguing. I'm kind of sad that it was that easy lol

Haha I love this!! I should mention this to FI considering I'm doing all the hard work he could at least entertain names I really like instead of nixing them 2secs after they come outta my mouth!

Wow, that's a strong reaction! LOL. It makes me think of an old lady bc that was my great grandma's name.

Hilarious reaction.  But, I love Adeline, my friend has an Adeline and they call her Addie, super cute traditional name that is not over used.  I also know someone who used Addison with the nn Addie, also cute.

For the record, I love the name Adeline!  I also really like Adalyn.  Ada is a really cute nickname too, and very similar to Ava without the popularity. 

If it makes you feel better though, my DH said he didn't like it either when I suggusted it a long time ago!
