I think everyone's different. For me, I typically get some EWCM about a day or two before I O. I don't think it's mcuh before that. For me, what usually tips me off more, is the progression in the CM from none just after AF, to sticky, then creamy and then watery. I seem to have the most of watery CM. Also, I am a big believer in cervix checking. When mine is so high I can barely reach it, nice and soft, and quite open, I know that I'm gearing up for O, regardless of whether EWCM has entered the picture yet. The cycle I got pg, I only had one day of EWCM, and it wasn't an overwhelming amount.

good to know...this is my first cycle charting and checking CM (or trying). at what point during your cycle does it start changing from watery to more creamy, etc? im just curious because i have not noticed any changes yet at all and I am about 6 days or so from O....
