Okay, not really.

But randomly an aquaintance of my mom's let her borrow a book she recently finished and enjoyed. Mom called me last night after reading the overview:

For the Colleys of southeastern Missouri, the War between the States is a plague that threatens devastation, despite the family?s avowed neutrality. For eighteen-year-old Adair Colley, it is a nightmare that tears apart her family and forces her and her sisters to flee.

I actually started reading that book a long time ago. I own it, but I've never finished it. Did your mom say she liked it?

Awe, cool! Always so neat to find your name (or child's name) in a book, especially when it is not a popular name. I work with an Adair and will have to tell her to read this one!

There's a girl in my class named Adair.

There was a book called The Face on the Milk Carton which had a character named Sarah-Adair.  Not exactly the same, but it's where I first heard it and liked it.
