Mirena help-Breakthrough bleeding

I had Mirena inserted in May of 2010. In the the last week or so I've had some beakthrough bleeding, not heavy, just some spotting. And not everyday.

Is this normal?

I should mention I've been doing Crossfit bootcamp for 2 weeks. Could the exercise cause it?

    It still happens to me from time to time and I'm on my second mirena.  I haven't found exercise causes it.  Seems random to me.

    I've had mine since 2008. I haven't had any bleeding or spotting in the past few months, but have and do have it occasionally. My OB wasn't concerned when I brought it up to her.

    I had it for 8 months with my Mirena.
