I feel sad that it's over but I feel like we did it the right way and that LO is healthy and happy.

Congrats on pumping for as long as you did!

I know that pumping is not easy, I did it for 3.5 months and then just stopped because of supply issues.

I'm starting the cut back next week...I can't wait to not be dragging the pump around, but I'm sad that nursing time is almost over...

This was me. I started to cut back about 3 weeks ago and did it less and less. I really think it helped. Although still engorged, I guarantee it's not as bad as it could be. It bummed me out but now that it's over, I'm actually feeling kind of relieved.

That is awesome you made it so long! Pumping is so much work. I also stopped at 6 months, but I had no supply so I did not get engorged. I had to keep dropping pump sessions the last few days because nothing would come out and I was hurting myself. The last week, I was lucky if I pumped an ounce a day. It is wonderful to not be tied to that pump so much!
