Okay so my son's name is Orion. He will be 2 on Saturday. We just found out today we are having another boy! Problem is it took forever to pick Orion's name, we can't agree on anything this time around.... My all time favorite boy name is Nathaniel, but DH said No way.

I like Desmond and Tyberias.

My husband likes Arthur and Alejandro.

We both kind of like but neither of us love Landon and Cedric.

Ideas?

I don't like common names. No Henry, John, Phillip, Mark, Michael....

The baby will be half Irish, 1/4 Italian, 1/4 hispanic, but my son Orion is blond and blue eyes, so this one probably will look Irish as well, which is why I don't want anything like Alejandro.

What about Owen, its traditional but not over used (yet, I've actually seen it coming back a little).  I think with a name like Orion, you should use another strong or at least similar name.  If you have Orion and like a John - that is too different.

My family is part Irish and names they suggested were Rory, Gavin (my favorite but DH did not like), Declan, Evan, Liam.  If those are too Irish for you, there are some that aren't too ethnic but just as strong are German and other Eastern Euro names on the babynamesworld website.  Good luck!

I love the name Orion!

I actually particularly like Alejandro (I don't think it matters if he has blue eyes). The only Orion I've ever known had a brother Alexander, nn Xander (this was 20 years ago).
