Babies: 6 - 9 Months

What are your Halloween plans?

We're skipping the adult halloween parties again this year, so I'm not dressing up (I may throw on an old witch hat or some piece of a costume if I end up passing out candy) but I'm excited for P's first halloween. He's too little to go "trick or treating" so I think we'll just take him to visit the grandparents and get some pictures of him in his costume.

What are your plans? Are there any baby-friendly activities in your area?

  • They have Boo at the Zoo on Sunday, so--depending on the weather--we might go walk around there.

  • H's work is having a Halloween thing for everyone's kids tomorrow. Friends of our are having a Halloween party on Saturday night. Monday we will just pass out candy at home.

  • We are dressing up tomorrow for library story time, going trick or treating at H's work, and passing out candy on Halloween itself. Halloween is also MILs birthday so we'll probably pay her a visit as well.

  • My birthday is Sunday and my Mom's is Monday so this is my weekend.

Friday night my girlfriends are taking me out for dinner and dancing. Saturday the boys have a halloween party. Sunday my parents are coming over to our place and bringing Chinese for my birthday. Monday taking my 3 year old Trick or "treaty" as he calls it lol.

Well we were going to go trick or treating with my cousin and her kids, but since it's snowing here today, it may depend on the weather.  If it's too cold, we'll most likely do the rounds and see family.  We just recently moved into our apartment and heard from our neighbor that we won't get trick or treaters.

Here too. WTF is up with that?! Super Angry

  • Her daycare is having a parade Monday. Of course DH and I both have to work and will miss it. Although I kind of think they're crazy for putting all the infants in their costumes and including them in the parade! Sounds like a handful! At night she will be in her costume and we will pass out candy and the grandparents are coming over-with pizza- to visit. We have a yellow lab, and so I got her a yellow puppy costume. I totally plan on putting a bonnet or baby headband and bib on the dog so that they will be dressed up as each other.
