There is snow collecting on the shrubs outside my office window.  It's October. This is all sorts of wrong.

Yes, they are saying that snow is possible north and west of DC this weekend. Crazy. We haven't even turned our heat on yet, how is it (maybe) going to snow here??

Its showing quite a bit here - i won a ton of mommy points when i got Sprout out of bed to go see the first snowfall of the year (the boy LOVES all things winter winter)

on the to-do list for today get the snow blower out of the back of the garden shed, put away the patio furniture, drain and store the hose, clear up leaves and get ready for 5 - 10 inches of snow. i love Maine.
