I'm not sure about the H in there, but if you take it out, Krystyna is the traditional Polish spelling and is common in other Eastern European countries. My parents almost spelled my name that way but thought it would get mispelled too much.

I know several Krystynas, the spelling doesn't look odd to me at all.
Ya know what does not make ANY sense to me. Why people think that Kh makes a Kuh sound. Ch, yes. K makes that sound on it's own people! Add not one but two Ys to the mix and you're right...we have a winner...for the must fugly name I've ever seen.
I work with a girl who spells it that way as well. She has no Eastern European roots, but I've never asked her why it's spelled that way. And I could know 50 girls named that and still have to admit that it's butchering the spelling.
