I wish I could reach through the computer and slap some people

I swear!

When it comes to unexplained symptoms, I will admit I am google fiend. Today I am having a bunch of creamy white CM and I am after ovulation. I thought this was odd because I kind of thought CM was pretty sparse after ovulation... so I googled it. Well,  by googling it, I got to a bunch of boards... and there are people that are 19 that are trying to knocked up by their boyfriends, 18 year olds concerned because their boyfriend might have ejaculated a little bit in them, and apparently 27 year olds who thinks their times is about up: "Im 27 (married for exactly 2 years) and my time is running out and Im starting to get desperate." I am 36, and I don't even feel desperate. Yeesh. Some people kill me... and I really wish I could reach through the computer and slap them. Arrgh!

/vent over (hopefully I didn't offend anyone here that might be 19 and looking to get KU by their boyfriends)

 

**edit: oh.. and I never found a good answer about the creamy white CM. Anyone care to take a stab at the cause?

    I'm 22 and trying to get knocked up by my husband. I'm offended.

    (Not really actually, since we are TTA. I just wanted to pretend I was offended. Stick out tongue)

    i'm sorry for your frustration. btw... i'm 27, married exactly two years... and kinda feel desperate. Just try to keep in mind that everyone has a story. :)

    I also have creamy CM. I thought it was normal but hopefully someone else has more info.

    Sorry. Like I said, not meaning to offend anyone. I guess from her comment (and the rest of it which I didn't post), it just made it sound like all her eggs were about to dry up if she didn't get pregnant ASAP because she was getting so old. But, maybe I just read it the wrong way! Wink

    I have this too. It's my understanding the creamy cervical mucus after o is caused by the increased progesterone and is normal.

    I had an increase of creamy/white cm before both of my pregnancies but I also had it this cycle and it is now CD3..so it is probably more likely to be what pp said.

    I can understand your frustrations with reading those posts.  Everyone has their own "timeline".  As for the creamy CM....I typically get it about a week after O.  Try not to read anything into it....Good Luck!
