Just had to come in to tell you I have a 6 yr old named Avery and a 4 month old named Violet!  Apparently we have the same taste in names!

We use family names as mns.  Avery's is Ilene, my mother's name and Violet's is Antonia, after my husband's late grandfather, Anthony.

I love your girls middle names! I hope #2 isn?t a boy because we are totally stumped on boys names. Unfortunately we have a hard last name that complicates things. I have always love love LOVED Noah, Eli, and Lucas (NN Luke) but it does not work with our last name AT ALL. So sad! Other names on my list, but I don't love are:

Gavin (so popular)
Jackson (also popular)
Elliot (but is now a girl name)
Oliver
Elijah (love the meaning)
Lincoln (not sure I want two kids with names that are commonly surnames)
Simon

LOVE Oliver, esp Oli as a nn but DH said "no".  Simon was going to be our boy mn!
