When DD1 was an infant the pedi said their growth may slow from 6-9 mo. I remember this b/c she didn't grow any taller during this pd. The dr assured me it was normal. I think the same would be for weight gain.

Yes, from 4 months to 5 months, Nora gained just one pound and from 5-6, she gained just 14 oz. The pediatrician said it's because she's becoming so much more active with rolling and trying to crawl etc..
She's consistently been in the 95th %ile, but at her last appointment she dropped to "between the 75th and 90th" for weight. Her height is continuing to soar, though, and she's in the 98th for that. Yikes! (Dh is 6'1 and I'm 5'8 so I guess it's not too much of a shock.. lol)

Our pedi has mentioned that once they become more active they do slow down in weight gain. I think it's totally normal!
