LO is now able to sit up on her own. So, when I put her down for a nap (and sometimes at night) and look at the monitor, she is sitting or kneeling and basically playing (trying to rip the breathable bumpers off). She seemed tired when I put her down (rubbing eyes, fussy, etc.). Should I just leave her there to play for a certain amount of time and see if she decides to lay down?? TIA!

DD doesn't sit up from laying down, so I don't have that problem, but she is always playing in her crib. She will be rubbing her eyes, yawning, etc, but as soon as I put her in the crib and leave the room she will be rolling all over the crib, throw her paci out, kick the fisher price aquarium and the crib rungs.
As long as she's making happy sounds I leave her. If she starts to get whiny I got back up, give her her paci and she will roll over and go to sleep on her own.
