Pumping up a freezer stash?

How often a day and what time of day do you pump to build up a stash? When do you start pumping up a freezer stash? I return to work in December and have no milk saved. I just pump for occasional outings.

The best time for me is just before bed. LO dropped his 11 pm feeding around 6 weeks old, so I just replaced that with a pumping session, which built up my stash.

Whenever I feel like it. We give her a bottle every day or two so I just freeze what we don't use.

I started pumping every morning about 45 after DS feeding about 6 or 7.  I get the most in the morning and have built a pretty good stash so far.

When do you start pumping up a freezer stash?

I started this last week and already have about 50 oz or so, so far. .

I built up a stash by pumping for 15 min every morning after LO first woke up and then for 15 min after LO went to bed and right before I went to bed.  I eventually dropped the evening pumping once my stash was big enough and I had enough to keep LO with one bottle a day.  I'm not back to work yet though(in January) so we'll see what happens with my supply once I'm not nursing as frequently.
