Confused - + OPK, but just "high" Fertility Monitor

I needed one more thing to monitor like a hole in the head.... but at least it keeps my POAS obsession in check. 

 

This morning my Clear Blue Fertility Monitor was "high." I took an OPK this afternoon just to see (Clear Blue Digital) and it was positive. 

 

So hopefully my fertility monitor will be peak tomorrow or I'll drive myself crazy.

 

Maybe I should just take a month off of temping and POASs....

    Also I'm a little concerned about a + OPK on CD 12.... I haven't had a positive this early before....

    Yes, you should have a peak reading on the CBEFM today. Must be your LH wasn't high enough with your FMU yesterday to make the machine feel it was a peak... but if you're surge is long, it should give you a peak today. Good luck! 

     And a +OPK doesn't mean you're ovulating now, it means you're ovulating in the next 12-48 hours. When do you normally ovulate?

    I just took a look at your charts. You've marked a +opk on CD 12 before.

    I don't know why it happened with yours but I can relate. My monitor never gave me anything other than highs this month until after O when I got my first low. I got a :) on my digital test and a + on an OPK in the same day but that mornings monitor reading and the next days monitor reading were both only highs. My temp confirmed that I O'd on the day that I got the :) so I just assumed my monitor was broken.

    You're right - I got confused because my monitor counts a day behind so my monitor was saying CD11. But I am regularly around CD 12/CD13.

     

    I got a peak today. So you were right on catching it just as it was going up.
