Georgianna?

I haven't seen anyone mention this name and I kind of like it.  I'm honestly not sure of the spelling (Georgianna, Georgeanna, or Georgiana).  Would you do a short middle name with it since it's so long like Faith?  Just starting to feel out names   If it helps our last names starts with G.

 

ETA: it's a family name apparently on husbands side

I love that book, and actually used some music from the most recent movie in my wedding because I love the name so much.

 Yes, you'll want to use a short mn, otherwise it will be quite a mouth full! I like Georgiana Grace and Georgiana Mae.

Georgiana - I like it.  Pronounced with "ah-na" at the end though, not "anna."

Love it. I'd totally use that or Georgia if my last name didnt have a soft 'g' in it- just sounds a bit much.

I love this name! I see it mentioned on here occasionally, along with Georgia.

I always think of the Duchess of Devonshire - there was a book and movie about her... the move was called The Duchess.  She kicked ass.

ETA: Yes, I'd do a short, not overly girly middle name.

 That's exactly who I think of. She was an interesting writer... to say the least :P

I adore Georgiana!  I have loved it since reading Pride & Prejudice. 

Another plus for me is that George is a family name.  

It has been making it's way up near the top of my girl name list.  My most recent thoughts are about potential nns.  I don't think I'd like Georgie for a daughter, but I am wondering if Giana is too contrived of a nn.
