It's like asking what people think of the names Mary Jane or Jack Daniel and then crying foul when someone makes a weed or booze crack.
Give me a break, grow some skin. If you're going to make up a name that sounds more like a weed reference than a person's name then be prepared to deal with the answers. She didn't' even respond here, she DD'd it and ran crying to mommy on the April '12 board is icing on the cake.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

This and the post on April Moms made me LOL. Don't ask if you don't want opinions.
Honestly the responses she got weren't even that bad enough to warrant a DD. She's a newbie though, they tend to think we all hold hands and fart rainbows and glitter around here.
From what I've heard the responses weren't that bad. I think the name is pretty bad drug reference or no.

I personally would want to know if there was a weird drug association with my LO's name that I didn't recognize. Better learn about it now then when they are in school.

Wait, does this mean I'm not supposed to be farting rainbows and glitter? Oh man. Maybe I should call my doctor.... I thought it was just something that happened with pregnancy/joining a community of all women, most of whom are hormonal.

So would I!
Honestly, I feel like we're performing an important public service over here. We're only saying online what people will be thinking in real life. (Or what brats will be teasing the kid about on the playground in 10 years.)
Don't be so mean girls you should all take a step back and not be so rude.
If not people will call us bitches and twaTS and we wouldnt want that would we?
Yes, they are, and that is why I would never post my child's legitimate name for critique there. And some of those twats have kids named after fruits. It is what it is though....nothing anyone can do to change it.
Is anyone else perplexed by the "kids named after fruits" comment? Is there a regular with a daughter named Clementine that I'm not aware of? Cause that would be AWESOME.

I do not know but I will start suggesting Prune, strawberry, and kiwi from now on.

Is this because Forensicmama used to have "Anna Banana" on her siggy? (I think she did). I wound't put it past that crazy April mom to think that's the kids real name.

Re: How Rude
Someone else mentioned it sounded like slang for marijuana, and I was going to add that I thought it sounded like the line from "Hotel California."
Warm smell of Kellitas, rising up through the air...
HaHa! that was me...maybe that's where it subliminally came from.
"Warm smell of Colitas, rising up through the air.."
Colitas = a marijuana bud
Ha, it already happened on the April board.
lol
