When did you take out the green piece that supports the LO leaning back and not slipping forward?
Its impossible to keep my baby girl leaning back now. She wants to sit up, which makes me nervous with slipping forward etc. I mean I always hold an arm when bathing her but still! So I am wondering if it is time to take out that insert or not.
Re: If you use the whale tub (or something similar)
We don't have the whale tub but we have an "infant tub" of sorts that had an insert to keep the baby more stable (before she was able to sit up on her own). As soon as she could sit up on her own, I took it out. She LOVES sitting up in the tub and splashing the water. She leans forward a lot because she wants to stick he wet feet in her mouth. I'm always there, with a hand on her at all times (as I know you and every mommy/daddy is) so if she goes too far, I can catch her before she gets a face full of bath water.
I say- do it! Let your peanut try something new!
We have the whale tub. We took the green hump out when DS was about 6 months and he could sit on his own.
