Today is about to start sucking a$$ (UPDATED)

The baby shower at work is about to commence, the first one I've been invited/surrounded to/by.  I think baby blue just threw up in our office.  I'm going to go take a xanax and will update you when it's over.  Wish me luck.

Update:  Ok so it did totally suck.  And there were three ladies all ku hands on bellies, and I thought I was going to hurl everytime someone said "Matt's having a baby!!!".  The cake was super cute and the worst part was the gift opening with all of the oohhing and aaahhhing over the outfits.  But it just ended, and my office is almost back to normal.  Thanks for all of the hugs, I sure needed them.

    Yuck! I'm really sorry that you have to attend. I'll be going to my second baby shower since my losses next week. Although the other one I attended I was pregnant at the time and sort of happy. This one is just going to overall suck. Especially since I will be the only one not pregnant/no kids. I feel your pain. Let us know how it goes and GL!

    Hope it's not too bad.  Hang in there.  I just realized last night that my first one for my SIL is coming up on the 5th.

    Im sorry honey!!  I had to go to one with 5 freakin pregnant ladies, and of course they all had to get pics together with their hand on their bellies... But it turned out alright.  I hope that Xanax works for you and you dont let it get you too down.  Ugh!  Have a good night when you get home!

    ((hugs)) sorry you had to deal with that today. I'm so glad we don't have baby showers at work, usually if they have one for someone it's on a weekend at someones house and I usually can say I have plans.
