OB just called to confirm prenatal appointment

It took me back because it thought they were calling as a follow up for my d&c. I composed myself and told them I would no longer be needing it as I am no longer pregnant. She apologized, but you would think they would read the chart.

    That stinks. I agree they should have read the chart.

    Happened to me too Sad. I got a bit short with the girl who had called. Not her fault, but it was so upsetting. I am sorry. ((hugs))

    Hopefully that particular person will be sure to check the chart from now on.

    That blows.  I remember getting a call that i missed my appointment.  I actually apologized that i forgot to cancel it, then afterwards wished that they were the ones apologizing. You'd think that OB offices would have some sort of system after a m/c to cancel future prenatal appointments.

    Ugh, I'm sorry.  I just added an appointment to my work calendar and saw my prenatal appt on there for the 4th.  It felt like someone stabbed me in the heart.  Now I have to call and cancel it.  Blah.

    Ugh. So sorry you had to deal with that.  You'd think that OB offices could come up with a fool proof way of avoiding this!

    That sucks. I can't believe they didn't read the chart. ((Hugs)) sorry you had to go through that.

    That's ridiculous :( I got a bill for a deposit for my delivery weeks after my MC. Doctors... really suck sometimes.
