HELP: separation anxiety !

my dd has been crying lately, even throwing fits, when i put her down or when i leave the room, she even cries with her DAD. ugh, i dont know what to do, i dont want to let her cry, and my family members are telling me to let her cry it out and i really dont want to do that, i need advice ladies ! please ! shes already 7 months

I don't have any advice for you but wanted to let you know you are not alone. My LO is very attached to me, probably because I have been a stay at home mom and even when DH is around I still would do almost all of the feedings and diaper changes and stuff. I just got a part time seasonal job just to see how working again would be and DH and LO are having a hard time with it. She cries a lot and DH tries so hard but ends up feeling awful that he can't comfort her as well as I can. I am hoping that me working will help them build a better relationship and this will pass soon.

I've been turning it into a game of peek-a-boo and that has been working pretty well for about 2 weeks now.  If I put him down and he starts crying I'll hide my face and do the peek-a-boo thing until he laughs.  Then I'll walk around the corner (cue his crying) and then I'll pop out from the corner a couple times til he starts laughing.  And then I'll sneak off into whatever room I was heading too and just shout peek-a-boo a couple times so that he knows I'm not too far away.  Then he's usually fine until I go back to where he is.  I don't know how long that trick is going to work for, but I'm running with it for now

No advice but dealing with the same thing.  I also stay at home so he hasn't really been away from me much.  I got a gym membership but haven't been able to use it because the 3 times we tried to leave him at the childwatch center he freaked out.
