Silly clothing poll

So, I decided to be a bumble bee for Halloween. I picked up a blank maternity tank top and wrapped it with yellow duck tape (instead of painting with fabric paint), so that I can take it off after and have a black tank top that I can still wear.

But...when wrapping the duck tape, I wrapped it slightly too tight and I had to cut it off! I couldn't even get it on. In the process of cutting it off, I also cut the tank top! I stitched the hole, but I want to do something to cover the hole. I found two cute ideas. Which should I do:
