Away from LO for a week...

I live in NJ and have to be in TX for a week when LO turns 5mos. I have enough frozen for her to be in milk all week, but if I pump while I'm away, I'll be bringing more than a gallon of BM home with me- about 9 or 10lbs worth by my math. How would you go about flying with that much? I'm seriously considering a roll on cooler since it'll be kinda heavy to lug around with me. It's a 4hr flight, so I'll be fridge/freezerless for about 7 or 8 hrs. Would it stay frozen that long or should I wait & freeze it when I get home?

It will for sure not stay frozen for that long. My bm is usually defrosted in the fridge after just a couple hours. I'm not sure how you should travel with it, sorry
