1-You're not gonna be offered much help with a MN if you don't even have a general idea of what you like. 2-obvious choices for MN generally include looking in your family for the name of someone you admire/want to honor or using another name you would've liked for a first.3-Mason is solidly a masculine name, adding a Y to it does not make it feminine

1) In order for James to be a Jr., he would have to have the exact same full name as your husband. So I'm confused as to why those letters would be out.
Thats fine my other daughters name is Maddyx James which is also a male name with a y. I just really like it.
I am very open. I just want it to sound like it flows.
There are no family names I am looking to use. James is my husbands name and Mason was my nickname when I was little so one is for my hubby and one is for me.

If your older daughter already has your husband's name as her middle name, why do you want it to be your possible son's name too? That sounds a little bit like overkill.
I agree that adding a "y" doesn't make a hyper masculine name feminine. It looks like you can't spell.

You guys are breaking the cardinal rule of the board.
OP, if your first daughter's middle name is James, then I agree it would be odd to make that the first name of your son. I'd recommend either using the middle name James for all of your children, or not using it again at all.
For Mayson, I'd recommend an obviously feminine middle name, since most people who see it written out will otherwise assume she is male. Examples that come to mind: Evelyn, Francesca, Rose, Anna, Olivia, Ava etc...
WOW! Well my Daughter Maddyx James will never be made fun of since she died about 45 minutes after she was born. Also the reason why I have no problem using it again to name my baby if its a boy after my husband and his father. Also Mayson I like because it a combination on my other Daughter Mae who also passed away And Maddyx's Name.
Love the positive attitudes ladies. Also, Didn't ask your opinions on the first names. Im sure my little angels would love all of your positive feed back.
The basic jist is you ladies don't need to be so negative. I would never say awful things about names other people are choosing. Especially since the opinion was never asked on the first names.
Pregnancy is suppose to be a positive experience for everyone. Most mothers teach their children if you dont have anything noce to say, dont say anything at all.
Re: I need a middle name!!! PLEASE HELP
2) I'm sorry, but Mayson is atrocious.
