Can I cry for a minute

My mom is watching DD today.  She just called me to tell me she stood up.  I really wish she wouldn't have told me this - of course she's all happy and excited she saw it.  I'm heartbroken that I missed it because I'm at work.

    I think your mom is exaggerating. I think she helped LO stand up. I don't think LO did it on her own yet.

    Agreed. Has LO been doing anything to lead you to believe she'll be pulling herself to stand at this time? Seven months just seems a little young yet...I could be totally wrong though.

    Totally this. DD has been "standing" for a month or so now, but we always have to stand her up and put something in front of her to hold on to.
