BLW=baby led weaning. It is a method of introducing solid foods where you allow the baby to feed herself "real" food--steamed veggies or soft fruit or whatever. There is no baby food and you let the baby decide what to eat (of what you offer) and how much to eat.

It's called "weaning" because the woman who came up with the term is from England and that's how they refer to starting solids there.
