What the heck is going on?!

My LO slept through the night EVERY night from about 3 months old until a couple of weeks ago. When she started STTN I kept thinking it was probably a fluke and she would start waking up again soon. Then finally after a couple of months of no wake ups at all I started to relax and accepted that she was actually STTN for good. Just as I got comfortable and started staying up a little later myself, because I wasn't worried that I needed to get sleep early in case she woke up, she started waking up in the middle of the night. This was about two weeks ago and since she started to get up at night again she has only slept through the night twice and it seems like she has started to get up more and more. She woke up four times last night. 

She is only taking two naps a day now too. She has recently dropped both her morning and evening naps. She never really had that 4 month wakeful period so maybe we are just getting to experience it a few months late? Did anyone else's LO sleep consistently through the night and then regress?

Yes DS has started doing this because he is teething and his bottom two teeth are just breaking through.    Could LO be teething??

DD was rarely a good sleeper but after her 4M growth spurt she started sleeping 9-5:30 i was in heaven but 2 weeks before she turned 6 months shes waking up 4-6 times a night now! Im in hell...

My son is doing this exact thing right now.  He will be 7 months on Saturday.  I have no idea what's going on.  I can't feel any teeth coming through yet, he does not have a fever, has not been pulling at ears, no cold.  All of a sudden he does not want to nap and is waking up during the night.  Is this normal at this age?

Once our teeth came it it all went to hell..

LO had slept through the night from 3-5 months, then came the teeth.. and up at least twice a night. 

Then came the needing to cuddle and fall asleep being held.. which I didn't mind at the time b/c he was hurting. 

Over these past 2 weeks we've started our own modified version of sleep training. Last night he was up at 1, then 720.  The night before he slept 8-7. 

We are consistently, not consistent.. 

It'll get better eventually! At least thats what I'm banking on!

My LO was consistently STTN since she was like 10 weeks old.  This past week she has been acting very weird at night.  She will go down for the night around 7:30 wake up around 10pm, & then wake up around 2am.  She will go back to sleep within a few minutes but it is so odd!  A couple of times she had scooted herself way into the corner of her crib & woke herself up.  The madness needs to stop!!

Yes, my dd did the same thing right when she turned 6 mths.  She has been sleeping 12+ hrs for mths now and then when she turned 6 mths she started waking 2-3 times a night.  It lasted for a couple of weeks and then the HORRIBLE teething began and it's starting up again.  I heard they go through a big growth spurt at 6 mths.

DS did this too, he was STTN from 6 weeks old - it is always either teething or he's sick (ear infection last time). It stops after the teeth break through or they get better. But the thing with teething is it seems constant once it starts...
