Only your dentist or oral surgeon will know exactly what they are going to give you to numb you. I had lots of fillings done during pregnancy, and my dentist said it was fine.
I do know women who have had extractions during pregnancy, so I am sure there is an OK drug to be administered.
Good luck

I'm a dental hygienist and I was always taught that the 2nd trimester is the best time to have any dental work done (fillings, extractions, root canals, ect.), while routine cleanings are essential during pregnancy and should be maintained. There are some local anesthetic drugs that can be used during pregnancy. I would definitely ok this with your OB.
