    I do like this name and actually have a very good friend with this name.  The only reason I hesistate is b/c there are several spellings- Jared (which I think is most typical), Jarred, Jarrod, etc.  I have a FN that I've only ever seen spelled one way and people still misspell it.  Drives me nuts...

    I love it but may be biased because it is my DH name.  I think it could go right along with one of those "classic" names that may not be as common as William or Matthew.

    It is my brother's name and I really like it.  I know several Jareds - all of whom I like so that helps.

    I've always liked it and I've had great interactions with every Jared I've ever met.

    Would consider it (as well as Brandon) but I think they're both dated.
