when should i teach him to wipe himself

my son is now officially potty trained. he is doing bm in potty and asking to go...he is doing wonderful. i think i should wait a few more months or at least a month before i try to teach him to wipe. what do u guys think?

He is 3 and what number of months?  My son is almost 3.5 and I can't imagine him effectively wiping himself clean.  I'd probably wait until close to 4?  I think that's about the age the boy I babysat when I was a teen could wipe himself.
