Intro and need pump recommendation

Hi, my name is Amber and this is the first time Ive posted here, I usually post on my month board.

I am going to buy either the medela pisa or freestyle. Im not sure which one to go with. I will be pumping quite frequently. Which one would you get?

I also have another question. I was using fenugreek but noticed the days I took it LO was getting sicker than when I didnt. She has reflux so IDK if it was just a coincidence that she was getting sick or if it really affected her. Has anyone heard of it affecting a baby before?

I am not sure about the fenugreek because I haven't used it.  However, I use the Medela freestyle and have not had any issues with it.  I use it for work and it works well for me.  I have the backpack and that is easy to carry in and out of work.

I have the freestyle and I love it!  I EP and rented a hospital grade pump for the first month.  I did not notice a drop in output when I switched from the hospital grade to my freestyle.

Also, I used Fenugreek for a while, but it seemed to upset my LO's tummy and she had really green watery poop.  I never really found anything that said it might upset their tummies, but I quit taking it and things returned to normal.

thank you! I found someone who wants to sell their PISA(I would of course buy new parts) for $160 with all the extras. I know thats a really good deal considering how expensive they are for new and it was only used for a couple weeks. Trying to make the right decision between PISA and freestyle.

My LO didnt have watery poop but the fenugreek seemed to make her spit up way more than the days I didnt take it. I have been making those lactation cookies and it seemed to increase my supply a little bit although they are a pain to make.

Just so you now Medela pumps are not closed systems. You might want to look into it a little more before deciding to buy used. Have you checked to see if your insurance will cover a pump?
