I realize that we have a long while, but the thing I am most afraid about is what we are going to do with DD1 when I go into labor. With T, my water broke at 7am and I had her right before 5pm. Not the world's fastest, but pretty quick for a first baby. We also do not have any family around.

Our neighbors our great and will watch T, but what do I do if I go into labor at 3am? I'm such a guilty person, I would hate to wake them up but I'm terrified of a quick labor so I don't want to wait too long. I also need to figure out logistics. I guess if it is during the week my neighbors could take her to daycare so that they can go to work? I really have no idea how this is going to work.

What did you do with LO1 during delivery?

If your neighbors agreed to watch your LO then I would assume they are fine with that 3am call too. I would talk to them closer to your due date just to map out every possible scenario.

My mom watched our DD at our house when DS was born. I was 7cm at my dr appt that day and he had me go to the hospital at 8pm, so it was easier for me to plan the logistics around getting my DD settled. If I went into labor and wasn't going into the hospital at a certain time I would have been much more upset over leaving DD. But I will say that the anticipation of leaving DD was MUCH worse than actually leaving her. She did fine! Better than I expected actually...
