Hip problems- Anyone else

Within the last week I have started having "hip" pain.  I will be walking and suddenly it will feel like my hip tried to pop out of place,Intense stabbing pain, it only lasts a minute but every time it happens I almost fall over.  Maybe hips are realigning? Does this happen to anyone else?

I am seeing a chiropractor for my pelvic alignment. I have back and hip pain. No real advice except we should probably both be doing more yoga.

It sounds like you need a chiropractor.  Something is probably our of alignment.  I personally would not wait until it gets worse.  Pain is the last sign of a problem.  Meaning the problem has usually been there for a while before the pain starts.

It might just be a temporary problem but if it keeps up, get it checked out.  I torn the labrum in my hip during labor and have continued to have problems with it (6.5 months ago).  Pain with walking, sitting, movement, etc.  Xray was normal but MRI with contrast showed the tear.  Not a lot of good options for treatment.  BUT, recommend getting it looked at to see if chiro, phyiscal therapy, etc can help or if there is something else going on just for peace of mind.
