Shipping costs

How do you determine what you'll charge to ship items sold here or on Spots/ds? I haggled with someone this weekend and ended up spending $6.80 shipping for 7 doublers.... $1/each! I think I would rather have the seller increase the selling price and list PP

Most diapers cost $2-$3 to ship. I know that shipping goes up like $.17 every ounce. Once you reach anything over 13oz, it's best to ship in a flat rate envelope for $4.75. I can cram a lot of stuff into them, the padded ones or the legal size ones are my favorites.

If I were selling, I'd try to sell several items at a time and send via USPS prepaid boxes. No matter where you're shipping or the weight, you know the price.  Unfortunately, shipping is expensive!
