I LOVE the name Byron. I think anything distinguished goes with it; William, George, Stewart, Joseph, Alfred, David... (Before we knew DD was a girl, we were considering Byron Ignatius, but that might not be your cup of tea). Byron was James Dean's middle name; James Byron and Dean Byron are great options, and since both James and Dean are common enough names, they don't make you look like a fangirl or anything.
Rose goes with just about anything. From long names like Elisabeth, Penelope, Clementine and Adelaide to simpler choices like Ava, Isla or Maeve, you can make just about any name you like fit (except, you know, Scarlett....or Violet....or some other color name).
Re: Need first names
Older names are kind of on an upswing right now, so some old fashioned names that you like might also be more popular/common than you would prefer.
I like Lillian and Adelaide with mn Rose.
I like Emmett and Edmund with mn Byron
I had to google old fashioned boys names, I'm not really a huge fan so I couldn't think of too many of them.
hmmm older names are (besides the annoying trendy ones) definitely the popular ones lately so be careful i guess. but...
