I have to be excited somewhere, and I'm not one to write about my breasts on facebook, sooooo....YAY!!! I made it an entire YEAR nursing!!
I am so proud of myself that even with being a full time nursing student I was able to continue breastfeeding. At times it was the hardest, most stressful thing I have ever done (including a 15 month deployment to Iraq...believe it or not) and I made it!
Thank you to the ladies on this board that have helped me more than you could know. I made it through what seemed like months of cluster feeding, 2 rounds of mastitis, low supply (fenugreek and dom work wonders), refusing a bottle, and a somewhat unsupportive extended family.
I remember reading on here once to never quit on a bad day. I promised myself I would at the very least stick with that, never quit on a bad day. I kept up my end of the bargain. Nursing is so easy at this point that I don't want to wean : ) I'm so proud to have made it to my original goal of 12 months.

Congratulations, great accomplishment for you and baby!
I am headed back to work next week and stressing about pumping, etc. (I EBF DS#1 for 17 months). I worry that I won't be able to do it again, but hopefully I will be posting my own milestone!
