Multiples

I have been mia for so long but i have a question or 2

I all, i have been mia for so long enjoying my twins.  I have 8 month old twins and loving every minute of it.  For those that do remember me i had them 7 weeks early.  We are going to see a crainalfacilist on Wednesday and i would like to know if anyone has had expeirence with helmets.  This appointment is going to determine for the need for them.  We had our NICU follow up and they referred me to them.  anything on the helmets would help me out tremendously.  TIA

  • I haven't personally experienced this as of yet but a boy in daycare has had a helmet since summer. Within the first week he already had made a huge improvement. It is really helping him and he doesn't seem to notice it at all! His neck is strong enough to hold it up and doesn't bobble around. But he was probably 6 months when he got it so not as grabby as older babies can be. Wish you luck! Oh and he looks super cutte with it on, like a lil football player ;)

  • Welcome back.  I go mia at times too but always fund my way back.  Grace saw a craniofacial doc at Childrens Hospital Oakland and I was totally thinking she would need a helmet.  Turns out she didn't and they monitored her for a while.  I was glad we went and had a second opinion as Pedi said she would be fine but I was worried.  I think there are other MoM's on here with helmet experience and I have heard a lot of good things about the doc brand.  GL!
