Stroller question (Longish)

When I was pregnant in May I got a great deal on a Phil & Teds, pregnancy ended in m/c but we have been using the single w/DS and really love it. Is it unreasonable to think we can get away with not getting another stroller? I was thinking if I take them out by myself in the first 6ish months, I can wear a baby and then use the stroller with jump seat for the other baby and DS (It will be summer and hot so wearing baby may be less than ideal) and if DH is with us, we could get a DSNG and push DS in one stroller and take the DSNG for the babies. DS will be 2 1/2 when the babies arrive so I feel like he will be out of a stroller soon after (though so far he love's going for a ride and walking with him is a disaster). My other thought was to get a Joovy Caboose but I just think it seems so cumbersome. What have others done in similar situations?
