Today just might be the day that made me say "Sorry, I no longer want this job.  The mess is just to big for me right now, and I think I will run for cover."

Seriously, who ever is elected has got a long tough road ahead of them.  And although they may not be directly responsible for any of it, they will certainly be taking the blame if/when it isn't fixed fast enough. I don't envy that position at all.
