Re-post from TTCAL 6+ but I had to share the part in bold with you ladies!!! P.S. I was in my very first craft fair today, something I've discussed over there but haven't had time to introduce over here :: Happy Saturday Ladies! ::Quick update! The Craft fair was today, and I can't say that it was a "success." However, I can't say it was a failure either. It was a fun, enlightening experience. I sold 1 custom order with the promise to send 2 more order requests, and gave out alot of business cards/flyers with lots of other promises to order in the future. I hold these promises empty until I see responses, but hey, you never know!Back to my 1 and only sale for the day....We had been set up and viewed for about an hour and half or so. I stepped away for a few moments to use the restroom and DH joked about "talking it up to any British people" (*insert* DH is British, lol). When I came back I found DH happily chatting with this cute old man. Low and behold, he was British! Before he walked away he threw the correct amount of money down on the table (which I wasn't expecting...atleast not from a little old man, lol). And he said "I want a frame." As I'm pulling out the order from he leans in with a twinkle-of-sort in his eye and said "Logan. I want you to make me a frame for Logan." My heart skipped 100 beats!!! I nearly fell over the table. After taking the order and details we discovered this Logan was a 14 year old girl who I would be making the frame for. But I couldn't help but have a huge smile on my face. My first order at my first craft fair was a request for the name "Logan." And I had left my "Logan" frame at home so this wasn't a "I want one of those" kind of things. I knew right then and there that my Logan was with me. It was a much needed comfort, especially with his birthday around the corner. DH added the "cherry on top" by taking the $20 bill the man gave us over to the nearest shop. He had the $20 broken down in change and borrowed a marker. He brought back a $1 bill that said "1st Dollar" on one side and "Logan" on the other.I don't care if I didn't make any money. That one sign, message, reminder -- whatever you believe in or want to call it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!
