I was running late to work today so on my way out the door I just grabbed my wallet (no purse) and my coffee.  Driving to work I realized I didn't eat breakfast AND I had nothing for lunch.  With all the meds I'm on I figured that'd be a terrible idea so I stopped and got something (even though I was already late! LOL).

I got to school at 8:10 (we're supposed to be here @ 8 to great kids but I have none to great).  My principal's a nazi so I hid my wallet, grabbed my coffee and keys and went in the building with my little white lie ready to come out of my mouth if anyone said anything.

"I forgot my coffee in my car so I had to go back and get it!"

Explains the coffee in hand and why I'd be carrying my keys!

I'm so ashamed.

*lol*! ?Do you have morning duty? ?We used to have to sign in. ?At 8:00, the secretary would copy the sign-in sheet on a yellow paper. ?If you signed in on the yellow but not the white, everyone knew you were late. haha

At least you had a good excuse worked up :P  I'm surprised they would be that strict with you even though you have no kids to greet in the morning.

I think I've gotten in late every day this week.  I would have done the same thing.

lol, that's a lot of work to go through.  Glad you didn't get caught.

Must be a Friday thing, I was also running late today. I drove all the way to my DS's before school care and realized I had forgotten to give him his meds this morning so I had to drive all the way back home to get them and then all the way back.  I hate being late.
