Do you wear any sort of back support?

I have injured my back lifting and carrying DS (28 lbs, 35 inches) and I don't want to make it worse. Do any of you wear any sort of brace, etc.? I am just wondering if there is anything out there besides the black strappy thing stockers at Home Depot wear. That does not look too comfy . . .

If you can take some Pilates lessons (ideally with a private instructor while getting started) it is a great way to improve your core strength. My DS is the same exact size and I'm only 5'2" so it's a bit rough. Can you put him in an Ergo carrier? HTH, good luck!
