XP: The Ellen show update

Well The rep finally called me back today. We talked for 30 minutes. She asked me a million questions. Starting with what I like about the Ellen show, how often I watch, how I met my husband, if he's my soulmate, about the kids. Whats hard about him being gone, etc etc. Really nice girl! Almost chatted like old friends!

She asked me to send some more pictures and that she would be in touch with me. She asked how much it would mean to me to be able to be a part of an audience participation thing and be on the show and I told her the world!! She said they could just use our story on the website somewhere. Or they could do nothing with it.

All in all it was exciting but grounding. They may call me aagain, or they may not. But it was an honor to just get a phone call and be thought about!

It's been a hard day (found out yesterday I need surgery and without dh, that just sucks). But the phone call helped!!

That is exciting! I hope they at least use your pictures or let you be in the audience, but even if they don't, getting contacted by the show is pretty awesome! Keep us posted as you find out more information! Big Smile
