Do you use nursey water or do you use just regular tap water? With my daughter we used nursey because we lived in a apartment that had horrible hard water now that we have our own place the waters much better but still don't have a water softner. I've only been FF since 6 months. TIA

Re: For those that formula feed
my doctor recommended tap water that's been run through a filter (like the fridge door, a brita, etc). we had been using tap water until 2 months and then I remembered to ask him the question and that's what he said.
now we just have a carafe of water that we fill every night before we go to bed with water from our refrigerator door. it sits on the counter and we fill bottles from it, so they're room temperature.
Plain old tap water.
No filter, no pitcher, no softener.
ETA: When we're out of the house, I usually have those 8 oz RTF bottles. If I run out and have to take bottles and formula, I'll find a water fountain or a sink. I don't know of any places around me that have water issues. They're all about the same. I have one of the weakest digestive systems in the world (obvious exaggeration, but my digestive system really does suck). If I can drink the water, I think just about anyone can.

this... but we have good water where we are.
This! But I do use nursery water when we travel - our tap water is okay, but we have been places where it is gross. At least with nursery water I know what she is getting.

this for us too. If I didn't have the RO setup, I'd probably use a brita filter pitcher and keep it in the fridge.
I'm confused. I thought it was important to have a certain amount of fluoride. When my pedi asked us what water we were using, I said nursery water, and he said that was good because it has the right amounts of fluoride in it..
(He also said our plain ol' tap water was fine but suggested we not use regular bottled water because it has no fluoride at all.)
