Making stay dry liners

I was about to order fleece liners and then I thought why can't I just cut up strips of fleece (I have some old fleece here anyway)? Is there any trick to making fleece liners? A special kind of fleece or treatment of the material prior to using that you would use? I use prefolds during the day and fuzzibunz for overnight and my son's irritation always looks better in the morning after wearing the microfleece pocket so I'm thinking it's a wet issue that I need to solve with some fleece. Any advice would be much appreciated!

  • I haven't made them, but from what i understand its just micro fleece cut into sections.  I do not believe you need to pretreat them either. Have fun!

  • Nothing special. Just cut and go. You don't need to serge, prep, or anything.
