Ideas for entertainment at DD's party...

DD#2 is not terribly interested in bounce houses, but we're going to have bigger kids at her party.  We won't have a ton of entertaining room, since we're packing for the move.  I really wanted to have a person maybe come and entertain the kids, any suggestions?  We're in Martinez.

Balloon person, magician?

For Emme's second birthday we didn't have any entertainment, and we had kids up to age 10. They either played outside with the basketball hoop, or played with the younger kids. They had just as much fun going in and out of Emme's tunnel as the 2 year olds.

I agree - balloon person is always a big hit!  So is face painting.  We had a magician at my son's 4th birthday.  I was dead set against it, but it turned out to be a big hit.  I'd consider just getting a bounce house too.  Even though DD is not into it, other kids will be and it's easy.

I can't recommend Happy Ever Laughter enough!!! We had the entertainer do balloon hats and animals (for both kids and adults alike) and face painting. They do it all though. The costumes are beautiful too.

When I was looking into doing something different for DS this year (but he wanted a bounce house so we went that route) I found www.karismagicparties.com and really liked that they offer and prices were reasonable.
