I don't AW my kids on here nearly as much as I should. Last night was Open House for the kids new daycare. They've only been going there since the beginning of September and this is the first time for either of them being in any kind of structured learning enviornment. The teacher told me last night that Alyssa is smart as a whip and is progressing really fast. She started the year not be able to write but only a few letters and couldn't recognize any by sight or sound and now she is on track to be moved into the early readers group next month! I always knew that she was smart but to see just how much she has learned in such a short period of time, I am so proud of her! The teacher was also gushing about how well behaved, albeit a little emotional, and how polite she is as well.

And as an aside, I got some great feedback on Nate as well. The teacher told me that since he has started in the class he has taken on the roll of leader and is setting a great example for all of the other boys in regards to behavior and manners and whatnot.
