My new phone is scheduled to be delivered today by FedEx, except there isn't anyone home to sign for it. Will they deliver it without a signature? Or am I going to have to make arrangements to pick it up from the shipment center? I'm on their website now, but can't figure it out.

Re: Does FedEx always require signature for delivery?
It depends on whether the sender checked the box that says "signature required" on the shipping form. For something like a phone, chances are they did. Also, if the package is insured, a signature is always required.
Fedex will leave a tag on your door that says when a second delivery attempt will be made. You can sign the tag and hang it back on your door and they will accept that as your signature. If they make a second attempt and you are not home and you have not left a signed door tag for them, they will leave another note that says they have made their final delivery attempt and it is now up to you to pick your package up.
(I do a LOT of internet shopping.)

I always leave a note on the door that says "leave the package FedEx/UPS" with my signature underneath it. They leave it every time.
